Negima!? Review

This is somewhat of a 2nd season for MSN(Mahou Sensei Negima), the reason I say this is because it tells you new things about Negi but it doesn't continue on with the story from the 1st season. The 2nd season focuses more on Negi trying to find his father instead of him trying to complete his training as a Mahou(mage). He encounters a mysterious masked man who goes by the name of Black Rose Baron who Negi thinks may be his father or has some clue as to where he is.

Rating

For those of you who liked the look of the first season this series may not be what you are hoping for. The look of it is completely different from the first season. The story gets kind of dull at times but overall it is a good anime, that is if you can with stand the weird cut scenes that they have in them. Every episode so far has these cutscenes that make you say WTH, other then that I don't really see anything different from the first season. The characters haven't changed at all, bonus is that you do learn a little bit more about each student in the class. Which I thought was good since the first season and even the manga really only tell you a little bit about each of them. If you are a MSN fan then you will definitely want to check this anime out.
